Prayers please
Category cancerA couple of months ago I did my sponsored walk to raise funds for Cancerbackup and I mentioned that my friend Cal's Dad had just been diagnosed. Sadly it seems he may not be with us for much longer and I would ask your prayers for him and his family.
I had just turned 14 when my Father died having been battling his cancer for 3 and a half years. As a teenager, who spent most of her time away at boarding school, my experience of paternal death is different to Cal's, but it still involves watching someone you love weaken and die and it is one of the hardest things life can throw at us.
Cal, as always, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, and we wish you the fortitude you need.
